Friends and Family Test

You are invited to participate in the anonymous 'Friends and Family test', either by SMS by texting 9293 to 07800 001234, or through feedback forms available in reception or you can complete the test online. You are also able to share your experiences on the NHS.uk website. We do ask if you have a complaint to initially please put this in writing to our Practice Management team, to allow us to be able to fairly investigate and respond appropriately.

 

January 2020

95% of patients were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend our services. Comments include:

'We always have excellent service, from the staff who answer the phone right through to the health professionals we see and the pharmacy staff. You are always screened appropriately and ensure we get seen, which can be very important with two young children. We appreciate everything all the staff at garstang medical practice do for us!'

'The doctor takes time to listen to my concerns and provides clear advice to allow me to make effective choices.'

'Excellent GP service, compassionate, caring, approachable knowledgeable in subject, trustworthy and ongoing support offered. Excellent practice nurse service, friendly approachable, knowledgeable and supportive. Receptionist was lovely. Gained work friendly appointments for hubby also. All in all could not have been better all round.'

Helpful staff, good service, I was early for my appointment and I was seen early. My experience was far more than I expected and can only praise all those at the centre. When it seems that knocking the GP's and surgeries is the norm all I can say is THANK YOU & VERY WELL DONE.'

December 2019

94% of patients were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend our services. Comments include:

'During the time at GMP I have had many medical issues and have always felt reassured after visiting any of your nurses, nurse practitioners or doctors. Necessary referrals have been prompt and in two cases life saving. Today's visit was no exception and I was again reassured after a diagnosis of a serious condition. Thankyou also to your efficient reception staff. I feel very lucky to be a patient at Garstang Medical Practice.'

'The reception staff are helpful and give 100% to accomodate the needs of patients. My doctor is wonderful. Very professional, understanding and genuinly cares about a patients concerns and health.'

'The practice is first rate compared to others in the north west. Appointments are easy to get, staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The whole operation runs extremely well.'

'A complete reliable and personal service,tailored to the patient from pharmacy to receptionist and good understanding doctors.'

'Excellent help and attention from everyone who has been involved with my health care since i moved to garstang in early June.'

'I have had had cause to contact the surgery and make an appointment to see a GP on 4 occasions in recent weeks. Each time I have called the receptionist have been very helpful and the GP's have listened and understood my issues. 'Very quick appointment slot given after calling today. Staff seem to appreciate that working people need to be healthy to do their job and that their appointments, at times, need to be outside of working hours.'
