Friends and Family Test

You are invited to participate in the anonymous 'Friends and Family test', either by SMS by texting 9293 to 07800 001234, or through feedback forms available in reception or you can complete the test online. You are also able to share your experiences on the website. We do ask if you have a complaint to initially please put this in writing to our Practice Management team, to allow us to be able to fairly investigate and respond appropriately.


March 2020

94% of patients were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend our services. Comments include:

'Reception staff are excellent and accommodating. Can always get a same day appointment if necessary. Doctors all seem very caring and instill confidence in the care you receive.'

'Dr Dingle was excellent he explained everything clearly and the procedure was painless and it seems to be a success at this stage. He also answered questions I had about other things and I felt reassured at his professionalism.'

'Over the last few months I have been really struggling to walk and have been diagnosed with Polymyalgia rheumatica. The GP who saw me was extremely thorough and spent a lot of time making notes and examining me. This is not unusual at this practice from the doctors, nurses and support staff they are always helpful, pleasant and try their best to get you the help you need. I cannot fault them. It is the best medical practice I have ever been with.'

'We always have excellent service, from the staff who answer the phone right through to the health professionals we see and the pharmacy staff. You are always screened appropriately and ensure we get seen, which can be very important with two young children. We appreciate everything all the staff at garstang medical practice do for us!'

'During the time at GMP I have had many medical issues and have always felt reassured after visiting any of your nurses, nurse practitioners or doctors. Necessary referrals have been prompt and in two cases life saving. Today's visit was no exception and I was again reassured after a diagnosis of a serious condition. Thankyou also to your efficient reception staff. I feel very lucky to be a patient at Garstang Medical Practice.'
