Friends and Family Test

You are invited to participate in the anonymous 'Friends and Family test', either by SMS by texting 9293 to 07800 001234, or through feedback forms available in reception or you can complete the test online. You are also able to share your experiences on the website. We do ask if you have a complaint to initially please put this in writing to our Practice Management team, to allow us to be able to fairly investigate and respond appropriately.


February 2023

95% of patients were either 'extremely likely' or 'likely' to recommend our services. Comments include:

'I do not have a bad word to say about the practice. I find the wait times minimal when I call for an appointment. Every time I have needed a same day appointment, I am always offered one either it be face to face or telephone. The receptionists are lovely and caring too. Each GP / nurse I have seen has been excellent, treating me and my young daughters with compassion when we visit. My concerns are always listened to, and treatment offered has been superb. Garstang is lucky to have a practice so good in the area. Thank you!'

'Without fail every time we have made contact with the practice whether that be in an emergency or for regular follow ups, all the reception staff have been extremely helpful as well as the doctors/nursing staff. We are really blessed to have such a supportive practice as all four of us live with long term and often complex medical conditions.'

'I have always been treated with respect and kindness, from the receptionists, nurses physios and doctors and not forgetting the pharmacy. I have been seen by doctors within a very short time. I feel very lucky to under these caring practitioners.'

'My family has been with the practice for at least 40 years and have always always been so well looked after. All the staff are very helpful and kind. Very lucky to have you all. Thank you.'

'The phlebotomist was polite and helpful- she was excellent at taking blood and very kindly helped me book my smear test online rather than having to queue at reception or phone.'

'The surgery staff are always welcoming and polite- the phone lines are answered quickly and efficiently- the wait times (in my experience) are always minimal- my appointment times are very rarely late- the midwife service is the best I've ever heard of.'
